Ben grew up in southwestern Pennsylvania and holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in Meteorology, the latter being from CU Boulder. His hometown received nearly three feet of snow from the Storm of the Century back in March of 1993, sparking his initial interest in impactful weather. Ben currently works on remote sensing and data analysis software at NV5 Geospatial Software in Boulder.

⦁❶⦁ One last mild day in the 50’s before things turn colder for the rest of the week

⦁❷⦁ Two cold fronts will arrive today, the second of which this evening will usher in a shallow Arctic airmass

⦁❸⦁ Freezing fog and drizzle will develop late tonight into Wednesday with a light glaze of ice making for slick travel in spots

⦁❹⦁ There will be another chance of winter weather on Friday (light snow)

This week in Colorado weather: January 10, 2022

An unsettled weather pattern the last few weeks has brought heavy snow to the Mountains and a couple of decent snow events to the Denver Metro area as well. We’re now starting to get back on-track for snow. However, the week ahead will be mild and sunny for the most part, but we are watching a system set to move in on Friday for cooler temperatures and a chance of light snow.
