Anywhere from 0.5 to 1.5″ of liquid fell across the Front Range in the past few days, including up to 15″ of snow in the Foothills. There was also some accumulating snow across the lower elevations, too. Let’s take a look at the snow totals from the last few days!

Shown below is our snowfall forecast map issued Monday morning with actual storm totals overlaid. Green values indicate that our forecast verified to within one inch of the observed snowfall total. Red numbers did not. Officially Boulder reported 0.2″ of snow while Denver reported a trace. The highest totals of 12-15″ were observed in the Foothills above 8500 feet elevation in Boulder County.

The 0.2″ of snow from this storm marks the 15th time in the last 21 year that Boulder received measurable snow in the month of May! We haven’t verified this, but Boulder might be the snowiest city in the United States (>100k population) during the month of May.

There is no change to the seasonal snowfall totals in Boulder and Denver.
