Shown below is our snowfall forecast map issued Sunday afternoon with actual storm totals overlaid. Green values indicate that our forecast verified to within one inch of the observed snowfall total. Red numbers did not. A general brush of a dusting up to 4″ spread across the Boulder-Denver area and the Foothills Sunday night into Monday morning, but booming totals of 5-7″ were observed between Longmont, Loveland and Greeley where pockets of heavier snow persisted for longer. This was indeed the area we highlighted in our forecast to be most at risk for booming totals given higher than usual uncertainty.
