A review of the snow totals from Tuesday night into Wednesday as snow fell above 6000 feet elevation across the Front Range (with just plain rain in Boulder and Denver).
Shown below is our snowfall forecast map issued Tuesday morning with actual storm totals overlaid. Green values indicate that our forecast verified to within one inch of the observed snowfall total. Red numbers did not. Officially Boulder and Denver both reported no snowfall from this event as temperatures remained just a few degrees to warm. The highest totals of 9-13″ were observed in the Foothills above 8000 feet elevation in Boulder County and northern Jefferson County.
Of course with just rain to measure this morning, there is no change to the seasonal snowfall totals in Boulder and Denver.
