Get Ready: After a one day break, the heatwave rebuilds even stronger heading into next week

May 2021 Weather Recap: This year has been the 7th wettest all-time through the end of May in Boulder

Front Range weather during the month of May was certainly busy! We got our first taste of summertime thunderstorms, including accumulating hail in spots. There were numerous upslope storms; a few even turned cold enough for snow in Boulder and Denver. La Niña dissipated and the drought showed continued signs of improvement. Summer 2021 Outlook: La Niña is dead, but that may not necessarily bode well for Colorado’s drought or the fire season ahead
