Mid and high clouds will be overspreading much of our state this morning into the evening with a large system impacting the northwest United States. We will be dry but there will at times be a milky appearance to the sky. Even with the high clouds, temperatures will reach the upper 40s in most locations. Some lower 50s are possible …

Born and raised in St. Louis, Andrew obtained a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science from the University of Colorado in 2015. From 2015 to 2020, he worked remotely in Boulder as an atmospheric scientist with NOAA's Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory in Miami. Andy is now a full-time meteorologist.
