This week in Colorado weather: April 27, 2020

Our weather this week could easily be mistaken for that of early June as a prominent ridge of high pressure engulfs the entire western United States, including Colorado. There is a good chance that many Front Range cities will set a slew of new daily record high temperatures later this week, and potentially even challenge all-time monthly record highs for April. This week in Colorado weather: April 20, 2020

Last week will be a tough act to follow as Boulder received more than three feet of snow and soared to a new seasonal snowfall record. While it won’t be quite as active this time around, there are a few notable weather features to watch out for. Look for generally warmer temperatures into the 60’s for much of the week. A few chances of rain will also be sprinkled into the outlook, mainly Tuesday and Thursday. And the best news? No snow!
