Ben grew up in southwestern Pennsylvania and holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in Meteorology, the latter being from CU Boulder. His hometown received nearly three feet of snow from the Storm of the Century back in March of 1993, sparking his initial interest in impactful weather. Ben currently works on remote sensing and data analysis software at NV5 Geospatial Software in Boulder.

This week in Colorado weather: April 27, 2020

Our weather this week could easily be mistaken for that of early June as a prominent ridge of high pressure engulfs the entire western United States, including Colorado. There is a good chance that many Front Range cities will set a slew of new daily record high temperatures later this week, and potentially even challenge all-time monthly record highs for April.
